This is His Royal Majesty Prince Zaphod... or at least he thinks so.
Zaphod is actually more like a cat than a dog - he's proud, independent and prefers to think for himself rather than listening to commands. He always gets so surprised when I say no to something. He looks at me like he's thinking "but... it's me! How can you say no to ME!?"
Fortunately he's also well-mannered and a real mama's boy so he does what I tell him to, even if he think's I'm retarded for not understanding that he's the king of the world ;)

If he doesn't know you he will act like you don't exist, so to strangers he may seem aloof and quite unsocial. But in the company of dear friends he's a cuddly clown who loves to play and sleep with his head in your lap. Or preferably with his whole body right over your chest...
I find him very easy to live with in many ways. He never barks, he's cool and easy-going so whereever I go I can take him with me. He's comfortable in every situation and he doesn't shed much hair.

I've had him since he was a puppy and I'm so happy I decided to buy him :) He's the best dog in the world and sometimes the only reason I even bother getting out of bed in the morning.

Zaphod is named after a character in Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy written by Douglas Adams.
