Yep, this Sunday the first snow fell here 
Most of it has melted again of course, it’s still another couple of weeks until it’s here for real. But it’s freezing here, and there’s already a thin layer of ice on the ponds in the valley, so it feels like winter already.
I’m not complaining – I love winter! Not as much as autumn, but it’s a close second 
There’s something about the first snow, it’s almost magical… Even the most ordinary, boring objects suddenly become beautiful and mystical just by adding a thin layer of white powder.
Is anyone else looking forward to the winter? Or is it just me being weird again? *lol*
You’re right, there is something magical about it. I’m looking forward to winter, but like Kim said, I’m not ready for autumn to be over yet!
I mean, it’s 95 degrees F outside today!

ooo… pretty! I love snow (not too much that means we get snowed in our village though). I can’t wait for Winter, but I’m not ready for Autumn to finish just yet.
