Is anyone really interested? Wow. I tought you all where here just for the pixels ;)
As you stroll around this site and read random thoughts and opinions scattered around you'll probably get a pretty good feeling about who I am.

So who am I?
My name is Karin. I'm 25 years old and live in a small town in the northern part of Sweden. Yes, almost next door to Santa Claus... And no, we don't have polar bears roaming the streets. A few reindeers maybe, but no polar bears. You'd be surprised if you knew how many people who actually ask me about that.
I share an apartment with my boyfriend Markus who I've been together with for just over a year. We met when we both started the same university education. For the first year we where just friends, but then we couldn't resist each other anymore ;)
There are two huge passions in my life that most people associate me with: art and animals.
I've been drawing most of my life and consider myself to be artistic, and I love animals more then anything else. And by that I mean ALL of them. Not just the cute and fluffy ones.
Ever since I got my first pet snake I'm a sucker for reptiles. Snakes in particular.
Other favourites are bats, spiders (tarantulas), rats, all equines, tasmanian devils, hyenas and manatees.
But my greatest love is the canines...
I've been fascinated with wolves my entire life. My mother has told me that I hated Little Red Riding Hood as a child because they killed the wolf. Ok, he ate granny - SO!?
I also have a great interest for sighthounds. I own a whippet right now and I dream about one day having an afghan hound.
As my domain name implies I like music - rock music.
I started listing all my favourites and such but it took so much space I decided it should have a page of its own.
And
I can't live without books, I read everything that has letters on it :) But mostly I stick to fantasy and sci-fi.
Tolkien = god if you ask me. I love every single thing about his work. Another favourite author is Douglas Adams and his "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series, I think I've read those books like 20 times. I also like Bridget Jones Diary, the Harry Potter series, gossip girl series and most books by Stephen King. He scares the living daylights out of me, but he's an amazing writer.
