Although I constantly add and remove content and just generally screw around with this site, it has always been my art gallery more than anything else. A dumping ground for all my dolls, drawings and other random stuff I create.
But since June 2009 (when I finally converted to Wordpress) it also serves as my blog. Mostly I just post art and pixels, naturally. But I also blog about online activities, my life, my pets, music and movies and such. You know, the usual boring stuff
I’ll probably continue to change the content every now and then, but at least the art/pixels and the blog is here to stay. I promise.

History

This is my second domain and probably my 10th website. The domain Rockwitch.net was purchased on may 13, 2007 and it was open for business a few weeks later.

I made my very first website when I was around 15 years old (in 1998). I had it on Geocities and it was a total piece of crap, but as useless as it was it made me discover the fun of making and maintaining websites.
My first “real” (as in not totally worthless) site was Sagi-tazi, a simple site featuring my art. It started in october/november 2002 on Geocities, but in febuary 2004 Iva found me.
So I bought CyanSunrise.com in march 2005, my first domain. I used to have everything there, but as my interest in fanlistings grew I decided to turn it into a fanlistings collective, and so I got this domain for my other stuff.

The name

The thought behind my domain name is quite simple really.
I like to listen to rock and metal (hair bands ftw!). My religious beliefs are of a pagan nature and I also like witches, magic and the supernatural in general.
So I came up with “rockwitch”. Because that’s kinda what I am – a rock n’ roll witch
