The mandatory holiday post!

I would probably violate some unwritten blogging law if I don’t write one of these posts, so I better get mine done
So… Christmas.
Me and Markus went to his parents in Örnsköldsvik on the 22nd. Bus ride was crazy, the bus was totally crammed with people and outside we had a full-fledged blizzard going on But we managed to get there in one piece anyway.
But other than that, and a minor accident when a kettle boiled over and we got melted fat all over (and behind) the stove, we had a very relaxed Christmas. It was just

Halloween 2009

I had a great Halloween, the best for many years actually We started with drinks and Guitar Hero at Johan’s place, then went out to a local bar/disco.
We don’t really celebrate Halloween here so most people don’t care about it, but there were lots of dressed up people. Mostly witches and devils, but a few Joker’s (from Batman you know) and even Santa himself
I was going to be an American Indian, but then I found the most amazing pants at the Red Cross and simply couldn’t resist! I tried to create some sort of 70’s hippie

Candy corn

That’s such a lame joke. I can’t believe I’m posting it…
You see, my snake is a Cornsnake And there is actually a certain Cornsnake colour called Candy Corn (but they look more like this). And I got the candy colours wrong. Jeez and meh.
Anyway…

School reunion

Last weekend I went back in time sort of. I headed back to the village I grew up in to participate in a school reunion. Apparently it’s 10 years since I graduated primary school (9th grade). Ten years!! I’m getting old…
The reunion was fun, first we had dinner at a local restaurant and then went to a community centre someone had rented for us. And there we played… eh, the dictionary tells me it’s called “rounders”. It’s kinda like baseball but with simpler rules, a very common game/sport here. Anyway, there were maybe 50 people there. We drank beer
